Just a quick announcement of the improvements Cubehero got last week:
Finally, search!
Admittedly, search is still pretty basic, but it’s serviceable to find based on name, description, and category. It’s basically a regular expression on those fields. It doesn’t do anything fancy that modern search engines do, like stemming, image recognition, etc. Let me know if you’d like it to be better.
Request projects and objects
If you can’t find something that you want, simply post a request, and I’ll scour the web to find it for you, and notify both you and the designer that you’re looking to use or collaborate on a project.
Discussions autocreated and commenting on physibles
Now, a shared discussion space is created automatically every time you create a physible project if it doesn’t already exist. Plus, you can now create discussion topics directly in the project overview, and ask questions and tell people how much you like their stuff.
Account management
I also finally put in a ‘forgot password’ for password recovery, and changing of your login email address. If you haven’t tried Cubehero for a while, there’s no reason now to be shy.
Still working on making Cubehero more useful for you. As always, I love hearing your feedback. Email me at wil at cubehero.com or follow me on twitter.
